This learning activity equips school nurses with current, evidence-based knowledge and practical tools to address adolescent vaping and nicotine dependence in the school setting. Drawing on current national surveillance data, it covers the evolving product landscape, health and addiction risks specific to developing adolescents, and validated screening and brief intervention strategies - including the CRAFFT 2.1+N and SBIRT model - before moving through cessation resources, prevention programming, and collaborative approaches to building a coordinated school-wide response.
